Ewha Dormitory + To bring or not to bring.

So I have started my stay in Ewha's Graduate Student Dormitory since last week (5th September 2016). I would say that my stay so far has been rather pleasant, largely due to my roommate. It is really important to have a good roommate.

So I was contemplating a lot on what to bring or not to bring for my trip. Honestly, I would like to bring my WHOLE house along if I could, but there's always luggage limit. :(

To bring or not to bring
Leave your blanket and bedsheets at home. Bedsheets are provided with a deposit of 3,000won (non-refundable). Mirrors are available in the bathroom and inside your wardrobe, but you may wanna bring a small one for your makeup purposes.

These are a list of things that you may choose to buy in Korea or bring it from your country to save some $$$ (these items are not provided in the room):
 - Hangers (not too many as you've only a small wardrobe of around 40cm)
 - Utensils (Chopsticks & spoon) + cup
 - Detergent / softener
 - Soap / Shampoo / Conditioner / Toothbrush / Toothpaste (Ideal to bring some and buy only when you have settled down, unless you want to do some major groceries shopping straight after you reached)
 - Hair dryer (you can rent from the office, but erm.. you know.. more convenient)
 - Extension plug (not needed if 4 sockets are enough for you)
 - Travel adapter(s) (DEFINITELY!! But of course you can buy)
 - Toilet papers (for rooms that have personal toilet)
 - Tissues
 - Water container (to save you the hassle of walking to and from the pantry area every time you wanna drink water)
 - Deodorant (DEFINITELY!! It is super hard to find one in Korea, but you most probably won't need it if you're going in Winter season)

Then again, all these things can be bought from the nearest Daiso located near the Subway station. There's another Daiso located at Sinchon too. You can find a Supermarket at Sinchon too. Tax refund is available in that supermarket (yeah to saving money!!)

Room and Facilities

Now for my room...

Shoe cabinet just in front of your door. There's a full mirror attached to the cabinet.
Toilet and a mini fridge. There's A LOT of cabinet available for your to store your things.
A table lamp for your studying / make up purposes
Balcony, where you can do some drying of your clothes.
Night view from my room
Sunset view
One thing to note, air-con will switch off automatically every day at around 0940H and 2310H. So be prepared to wake up in the middle of the night to switch on the air-con.
